Totally Stolen Peanut Butter Cookies

There is no mystery to this recipe. Comes right on the label. Doesn’t need any tweaks.


  1. 1 1\4 Cups Firmly Packed Brown Sugar
  2. 3 \4 Cup Smooth Peanut Butter
  3. 1 \2 Cup Vegetable Shortening
  4. 1 Large Egg
  5. 3 Tablespoons Milk
  6. 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  7. 1 3\4 Cups AP Flour
  8. 3 \4 Teaspoon Baking Soda
  9. 1 \2 Teaspoon Salt


  1. Mix first 6 ingredients together until smooth.

  2. Mix the 3 dry ingredients together until well combined.

  3. Add dry ingredients into the wet until mixture forms a smooth dough. A stand mixer works wonders here.

  4. Put dough balls on baking sheet. Roughly the size of a golf ball. Using a fork slightly press down making a criss cross pattern.

  5. Bake at 375″ for 8-9 minutes. Don’t over bake. They may not look done, but they are. Cookies will be soft and chewy. Enjoy
