Sweet and spicy Vietnamese Chile sauce

Ingredients

  1. 3 tomatillos
  2. 6 jalapeños
  3. 1 garlic clove
  4. 3 tbsp suger
  5. 1 tbsp tumeric
  6. to taste Salt
  7. 1/2 cup water

Steps

  1. Chop and core both the tomatillos and jalapeños, leave in seeds of jalapeños for extra spicy flavor

  2. Chop and mince garlic clove

  3. Bring water to a simmer and place all ingredients in

  4. Let simmer till jalapeños are bright green just around 8-10 mins

  5. Blend all ingredients till a fine puree is formed

  6. Grab a Chinois cap and strain till only liquid remains (or leave if u want a more rough texture)
