Tangy and delicious! Great as main course or appetizer.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs. hamburger
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- Seasonings to taste: pepper, parsley, garlic powder, salt
- Sauce:
- 1 (12 oz.) bottle Chili Sauce
- 1 (16 oz.) jar grape jelly
Steps
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place chili sauce and grape jelly in large pot.
Simmer covered on low until completely melted together. Keep on low until meatballs are finished cooking.
In a large mixing bowl combine all remaining ingredients for the meatballs.
Mix together with hands until combined.
Form into meatballs and place on greased baking sheet. Make slightly larger for main meal, slightly smaller for appetizers.
Bake for 35 minutes or until fully cooked.
Place balls in sauce and stir carefully to coat.
Cover and simmer on low for an additional 10 minutes.
