Make good use of cheap cuts of tuna with a simple dry rub and peppercorn crust.
- 500 grams crazy cut tuna fillet
- 1 teaspoon cayenne
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 pinch salt
- 1 tablespoon whole peppercorn
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Heat olive oil in a pan and add peppercorns. Picture shows whole peppercorns but slightly crushing them will make it easier to stick to the tuna. cook for 5 minutes
Cut tuna into 3 inch pieces and season with remaining ingredients. Add to the pan and turn every 1 minute until all sides are browned nicely. Cook for about 5-7 minutes in total.
