- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/3 cup mustard powder
- 1 teaspoon ground sage
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 cup ground paprika
- 1/4 cup seasoned salt
- 1/4 cup granulated onion powder
- 1/4 cup granulated garlic powder
- 16 pounds pork spare ribs
Get the ribs at room temperature.
Gather the spices. Mix them well. Add the white sugar mix it in very good. The brown sugar is a little moist. Add it last, make sure to break up any lumps. The brown sugar sticks to the dry ingredients and shouldn’t clump up once the lumps are unclumped.
I put it in a gallon bag, it was just over half full.
Fire up the grill.
Remove the silver skin membrane from the ribs.
Rub the rub on the ribs and allow to sit 10 minutes before grilling. The grill should be just about ready.
Put the ribs on the grill turn as needed till done. Wrap in aluminum foil.
Serve I hope you enjoy!!!
