Hot sub sandwich


  1. 1 (16 oz) loaf French or Italian bread
  2. 6 oz sliced American, cheddar, and or Swiss cheese
  3. 12 oz thinly sliced deli turkey, ham, roast beef or chicken
  4. Ranch salad dressing or other creamy salad dressing


  1. Cut bread loaf of bread in half horizontally. Arrange the cheese on bottom half of bread. Arrange the meat over the cheese.

  2. Place the top half of the bread on the sandwich. Put in oven and bake 5 minutes or until cheese melts. Remove sandwich from oven and cool slightly.

  3. Slice sandwich. Serve warm. Pass the salad dressing to use as a dipping sauce or to drizzle over deli meat.
