My husband mom showed me how to make it. She’s from Syria. These are rough Measurements because you know cooks don’t use Measurements lol. And I can’t ask questions just have to rush and follow along lol.
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons pomegranate molasses (optional)
- 2 teaspoon sumac (ground)
- 1-2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
- Half palm full of dried mint (lol) add more if like
- Eye the extra virgin olive oil as you pour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (add more if like)
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper (add more if like)
- Veggies
- Cherry Tomatos sliced down middle
- Romain Lettuce
- Yellow and orange bell pepper chopped
- 1 Long skinny cucumber (idk the name)
- Scallions chopped
- Parsley
Steps
Chop all vegetables
Place in a large bowl
Mix veggies
Add all your dry/wet ingredients. With veggies
Then mix
Don’t forget to taste as you go because you don’t want it to be too tart/sour
