My husband mom showed me how to make it. She’s from Syria. These are rough Measurements because you know cooks don’t use Measurements lol. And I can’t ask questions just have to rush and follow along lol.


  1. 4 tablespoons lemon juice
  2. 2 tablespoons pomegranate molasses (optional)
  3. 2 teaspoon sumac (ground)
  4. 1-2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  5. Half palm full of dried mint (lol) add more if like
  6. Eye the extra virgin olive oil as you pour
  7. 1/2 teaspoon salt (add more if like)
  8. 1/2 teaspoon pepper (add more if like)
  9. Veggies
  10. Cherry Tomatos sliced down middle
  11. Romain Lettuce
  12. Yellow and orange bell pepper chopped
  13. 1 Long skinny cucumber (idk the name)
  14. Scallions chopped
  15. Parsley


  1. Chop all vegetables

  2. Place in a large bowl

  3. Mix veggies

  4. Add all your dry/wet ingredients. With veggies

  5. Then mix

  6. Don’t forget to taste as you go because you don’t want it to be too tart/sour
