I found this one on the internet , but of course I made it better….. ?
Ingredients
- 1 Jar Pasta Sauce (25 oz)
- 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
- 1 container cottage cheese (16 oz) large curd
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 8 oz brick of cream cheese(softened)
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Sprinkle of parsley flakes
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 green pepper, chopped
- Fresh garlic (minced)
- 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 box uncooked jumbo pasta shells
- 1/3 cup water
Steps
Brown ground beef in a pot, when browned add onion, green pepper and garlic, then add black pepper to meat…..Cook until onion and green pepper are soft…..
Add to ground beef your can of diced tomatoes and 1 cup of your jar pasta sauce, mix all well and cook for 20 minutes…..
Add your 1/2 cup water and 1 cup heavy cream to meat mixture, mix well, then pour into a greased 5 quart slow cooker…..
Meanwhile in a large bowl combine cottage cheese, 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese and the 2 beaten eggs, and your sprinkle of parsley flakes, mix all very well…….
Fill each uncooked pasta shell with the cheese mixture and place each shell into your slow cooker…..I had about 6 leftover shells so I just placed them around the stuffed shells in the slow cooker…..
Pour reserved pasta sauce over shells and your 1/3 cup of water…..
Cover and cook on high for 2 hours or until shells are tender, then sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheese over shells, cover and let sit until cheese melts…..
Serve and enjoy ?!!!!!!
