Comanche Grape Dumplings

A very delicious Native American recipe. Thanks to the Comanche Native Americans for creating such a delicious recipe!!!


  1. 1 cup sugar
  2. 3 cups flour
  3. 3 cup purple seedless grapes
  4. 3 tablespoons butter
  5. To taste salt
  6. As needed lard/oil to fry in


  1. Heat the oil. Smash the grapes, and mix all the ingredients except the oil.

  2. Get a tablespoon and spoon them in hot oil and fry. I found out cooking like scallops using the clock method works well. Look at the pan like a clock. First one in goes on 12 when you put the 11 in it’s time to turn.

  3. Move to paper or towels to absorb excessive amounts of oil.

  4. Serve I hope you enjoy!!!
