This is a super simple, quick recipe for when you need something chocolatey, but dont want to bake a huge batch of something. It’s also an awesome recipe for kids to make. Recipe adapted from: bitzngiggles.com
Ingredients
- Dry Ingredients:
- 4 tbsp. all purpose flour
- 3 tbsp. granulated sugar
- 1 heaping tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- Pinch salt
- Wet Ingredients:
- 5 tbsp. milk
- 1 tbsp. unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Steps
In a bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients. Then whisk in the wet ingredients until well combined. Stir in the chocolate chips. Pour this mixture into a greased mug (at least 12 oz. size or a little bigger).
Pop the mug into the microwave for 90 seconds. That’s it. Sprinkle some powdered sugar over the top or plop a scoop of ice cream on top and enjoy it!
