Candied Brussels sprouts


  1. 2 tablespoons olive oil
  2. 2 bags fresh or frozen Brussels sprouts about 2 lbs
  3. 2 teaspoons sea salt
  4. 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  5. 1 teaspoon black Pepper
  6. 1/3 cup brown sugar
  7. 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  8. 1/2 cup cooked bacon pieces
  9. 2 Tablespoons butter


  1. In a large skillet add olive oil brussels sprouts, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Cook on medium high heat stirring occasionally till Brussels sprouts are getting tender and lightly charred looking

  2. Stir in brown sugar and bacon and drizzle on maple syrup and add butter and mix throughly
