Bacon & Parmesan Brussels!

Addictive little nuggets


  1. 5 strips thick cut bacon
  2. 2 tablespoons butter/ or olive oil
  3. 2 cups brussel sprouts – halved
  4. Salt/ pepper
  5. 4 cloves fresh garlic-minced
  6. 1/4 grated Parmesan cheese
  7. 3 tablespoons bacon fat


  1. Rinse and trim brussel sprouts. Cut in half and set to the side.

  2. Largely dice 5 slices of bacon and fry in a cast iron skillet. Once cooked, remove bacon from pan with slotted spoon. Pour out the bacon remaining in pain. Add 3 tablespoons of the bacon fat back into the skillet, along with butter or olive oil. Add Brussels cut side down. Once they are browned begin stirring the Brussels around. Add salt and pepper. Once they are cooked to your liking add in garlic. Toss around being careful not to burn garlic.

  3. Add bacon in.. Turn off the stove and as much fresh Parmesan as you like!
