Alkaline – Amaranth Greens (Callao)

Ingredients

  1. 2 bundles Amaranth Greens
  2. 5-6 mini sweet peppers
  3. 1/2 of red onion
  4. 1/2 of green pepper
  5. 1/4 cup cilantro
  6. 1 tablespoon grape seed oil
  7. Sea salt
  8. 1/2 of habanero pepper (if desire)

Steps

  1. Remove stems from greens and soak and clean thoroughly. Chop greens into small bit sizes.

  2. Chop veggies and add to a pot with a tablespoon of grape seed oil over medium heat.

  3. Add greens and stir occasionally. Add seasoning and cook for 15 min. Enjoy!
