    DIRECTIONS

  • Place apples, cinnamon, juice and zest in large saucepan or Dutch oven.Simmer covered, stirring occasionally, over medium-low heat until apples are soft, 20-25 minutes.Stir in sugar to taste, the ginger, and nutmeg.
