Breakfast is something many people, in the dieting world, argue about. While some claim breakfast to be the most important meal of the day, others tend to argue against the fact and claim that breakfast may only contribute to an unhealthy weight.

However, fitness, nutritionist and social media influencer, Kelly Oaks said: “Breakfast is an important part of your day. It is the very first meal of the day and also the meal that is going to get you through that day.

“Supply your body with the right nutrients and you’ll have more energy, you’ll fight off any signs of fatigue and you’ll just feel overall great.”

Some previous research and articles have suggested that one of the best ways you can start your weight loss journey is to start your day off with a green smoothie, as it requires minimal effort and has multiple health benefits to improve your overall wellbeing.

As the name suggests, green smoothies are green in colour. This green colour is gained from all of the green fruits and vegetables that are added to the smoothies.

“I then started drinking green smoothies which contained fruit, water, and leafy greens. You can’t taste the greens [in them] only the fruit which makes them delicious,” she said.

Katherine life was then changed for the better she said: “I got down to my ideal weight, felt the best I’ve ever felt in my life, all my health problems were gone and I was running for an hour a day.”
