Weight loss: One man made easy change to shed 2st and carve six pack abs in 13 weeks

Weight loss is not easy and looking to others who have transformed their lives can be great motivation. One man managed to burn fat and get six pack abs in just 13 weeks with a low-carb and high protein diet plan and exercise.

What exercise plan did he use?

Julio, from London, started to pile on the pounds through his career as a pastry chef.

While he had to eat cake regularly for work, the slimmer struggled to keep his weight down.

Speaking to Express.co.uk, he said: “I am an Instagrammer and pastry chef for a living, which literally means that I eat cake most days – and during the first phase of my transformation I ate cake every single day.

“I try new recipes, I eat them either live or on video for social media, I am constantly creating and therefore eating.

“Sometimes just a small bite, but often two or three slices of cake a day.

“I wanted to feel good about the way I look and I wanted to have evidence that if you find a balanced lifestyle and are disciplined, you can still eat your cake and look good.”

Although Julio tried to stay fit and active, he had not been to a gym in two years.

The slimmer noticed his confidence take a hit as the weight started to pile on.

Deciding enough was enough, Julio signed up for a fitness programme with Ultimate Performance in London.

The training programme focused on working his whole body with the workouts changing regularly.

As well as weight training, Julio found a passion for running and would do cardio three times a week, including 10km runs.

While he increased his training, the dieter also made a change to his diet plan.

Julio explained his job meant he would still need to test cakes most days but would follow a stricter diet plan for other meals.

The slimmer filled up on low carb and high protein foods in a bid to slim down.

Combining the intense exercise plan with healthy meals, he managed to burn belly fat and hone six pack abs.

After initially slimming down, Julio managed to stay healthy and build more muscle.

He added: “I am actually improving my results each day towards the body I want to have on a long-term basis.

“I am now bulking up and have carried on training with Ultimate Performance.

“My body composition has completely changed and my muscle mass keeps on increasing whilst keeping a low body fat percentage, currently around 11 percent.”
