  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 2 (15ounce) cans beans (black, kidney, white, pinto, mixed etc.)
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 vegetable bouillon cubes (optional) or 1chicken bouillon (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon sazon goya knock off mixed spice (avoids MSG)
  • 13 bunch chopped cilantro
  • 1 tablespoonolive oil
  • 1 lime, cut into 8 wedges
  • Directions

  • Start the rice cooking if you want to serve it over rice.
  • saute onions, garlic and peppers until tender in olive oil in a pan large enough to simmer all ingredients (about 5 minutes).
  • Add everything else except cilantro and lime wedges and simmer for 8 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with cilantro and serve with lime wedges.
