Lorraine Kelly weight loss: TV star drops two dress sizes with one exercise

Lorraine Kelly is a broadcaster who has hosted daytime TV shows including GMTV and Lorraine during her career. Over the years, she has been through a notable weight loss transformation and dropped two dress sizes. She revealed exercise and a healthy diet plan helped her slim down.

How did she lose weight?

The TV star made changes in her diet and exercise routine which helped her slim down from a size 14 to a trim size 10.

Although Lorraine previously said she does not weigh herself, her weight loss results are clear to see.

When slimming down, she focused on working out with aerobic exercises.

To give a look into her exact routine, Lorraine released a fitness DVD which was in the style of an aerobics class.

Speaking on This Morning, she said: “I really look forward to my classes, and with the new DVD we wanted to show what a class was like.”

Not only did she lose weight, Lorraine explained her confidence grew and she started making bolder fashion choices.

The dieter has managed to maintain her slim frame and will regularly post updates from her fitness classes.

In a recent post, Lorraine shared a video taken during one of her fitness classes.

She wrote: “Love you @maxicise.tv and all the fabulous “bow belles” #love #happy #friends”

Another post from the class said: “Cracking class @maxicise.tv – feel SO much better. #stressrelief #stressbuster #happy #healthy #sweaty #hot”

Not only did the popular presenter change her exercise routine, she also took a look at her diet.

Instead of following a strict plan, Lorraine cut back on how much she ate.

“I don’t think diets work. It’s all about portion control,” she told This Morning.

“My husband cooks for me and sometimes I ask, ‘How many people are coming round?’.”

Although she was not necessarily eating unhealthy foods, the TV host was tucking into large portions.

By watching what she ate, Lorraine noticed the weight started to fall off.

She added: “Portion control and not snacking so much are important, as well as being sensible.”
