The Duchess of Cambridge is a keen runner. In fact, while at St Andrew’s university she took part in a daily morning running club.
The Daily Mail quote an insider who said Kate runs as often as possible “sometimes with Charlotte in her buggy and their dog Lupo at her side.”
She also enjoys hockey, a sport demanding a high level of cardiovascular fitness.
Running is the exercise credited with burning the most calories. Burning calories is key for keeping body fat low, especially in the stomach area.
Kate is famously competitive when it comes to sports, and she enjoys challenging her family members to games.
A source told the Daily Mail: “The tennis court at Anmer has been the scene of many hard-fought matches, singles and doubles.”
They added: “She and Pippa enjoy strenuous make-up-free aqua aerobic sessions and larky water polo with William and Harry.”

A healthy diet
The Duchess enjoys a healthy diet full of a variety of nutritious foods.
She has a green smoothie in the morning, with kale, spinach, romaine, coriander, blueberries, spirulina and matcha.
Kate likes a salad for lunch, with seeds from watermelons, ceviche, which is raw fish, goji berries and tabbouleh, according to the Daily Mail.
For dinner she enjoys curries and roast chicken.

At an event in 2016, Kate revealed: “William has to put up with my cooking most of the time.”
People reported that William then added: “It’s the reason I’m so skinny.”
Body weight exercise
Kate is said to do a number of exercises to keep to her stomach flat.
This includes the famed toning exercise, “The Plank”.
A source told The Sun the Duchess does the plank, the side plank and a move called the prone skydive.
According to report Kate can hold each position for 45 second and she does this at least 10 times each.
In other weight loss news, a diet plan has been lauded as the “gold standard” by scientists.
The findings, from Northwestern University in the US, claim a diet plan called Opt-IN provides a very high standard of weight loss given it low cost, low hassle approach.
Senior study author Bonnie Spring, director of the Institute for Public Health and Medicine’s Center for Behavior and Health at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine said: “This matches the gold standard, so it’s as good as it gets.”
