MasterChef presenter Gregg Wallace, 56, is best known for his co-presenting role on the BBC show. Wallace, along with Australian celebrity chef John Torode, are usually seen trying delectable dishes offered up by inspiring chefs. However, recently Wallace has been watching his diet more closely in order to lose weight.

As well as making small changes to his diet, Wallace has also enacted a new fitness regime.

Wallace often documents what he eats and his fitness journey on Instagram to help inspire others to change their lifestyle too.

Today, Wallace shared a heartwarming message on his Instagram story with his followers and fans.

The TV presenter and former greengrocer advised his followers how to be “fitter,” “healthier” and lose weight.

“Picture in your mind the perfect you, the really fit, slimmer you.

“All you have to do to get there is make small steps everyday in that direction.

He had them with lettuce and tomato in a white, crusty roll.

Last summer, Wallace set up Gregg’s ShowMe.Fit, a website dedicated to wellness, fitness and diet.

The website allows people to pay for a subscription plan for just £7 a month.

Those who subscribe get the same recipes and exercise routines Wallace used on his own fitness journey.

Wallace was also a contestant on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing in 2014.

His appearance on the show was his first step towards losing weight and getting fitter.

However, he was voted out in the second week.

Wallace says on Instagram that his passions are “family, food and fitness” and “helping people get leaner ’n fitter”.

Gregg Wallace will appear on Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel on BBC One at 8.30pm.
