Olive Garden Will Thank Service Members This Veteran’s Day With Free Pasta And Breadsticks

Few days are more important in America than Veteran’s Day. Every November 11, we honor the men and women who put their lives on the line in order to protect our nation across all five branches of the armed services: the Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, and Navy.
Veteran’s Day falls on a Wednesday this year, and it’s a day we pause to pay tribute to our active military in addition to all those who have retired. Every year, at precisely 11:00 a.m., a wreath is laid on the Tomb of the Unknowns in Arlington National Cemetery. Across the country, hundreds more ceremonies will take place.
To mark the occasion, Olive Garden is giving back to members of our armed services community in its own special way: free breadsticks. The Italian food chain will also offer a complimentary entrée to all veterans, as well as active-duty military, who get to make their selections from a special Veteran’s Day menu.
All entrées are served with Olive Garden’s iconic freshly baked garlic breadsticks and a choice of homemade soup or the chain’s house salad. You can alternatively combine all three into one meal with unlimited helpings.
It’s one small way to say “thank you” to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. And it’s just one of more than one dozen Veteran’s Day specials in 2020 that allows our services members to take home free meals or other deals.
