The supermarket are recalling Waitrose 6 Sweet and Succulent Port Sausages with Caramelised Red Onion Confit. The meaty treat has been incorrectly labelled, and given the wrong ‘use by’ date. Packets that currently have a ‘use by’ of 04/07/19 should have been given a ‘use by’ of 04/06/19. This means the product could be unsafe to eat after the intended ‘use by’ of 04/06/19 – but consumers may mistakenly think they can eat the sausages for a whole month after.
