McDonald’s launches four new dip flavours for McNuggets

To celebrate 40 years of McNuggets, McDonald’s is giving customers the chance to enjoy four new dips. Fans were asked what flavours they would like to try and some will be available from next week.

From Wednesday 10 May, Garlic May dip and Mega Hot Sauce dip will be available for nugget fans to choose from.

Then from Wednesday 31 May, Chipotle Mayo and Creamy Ranch will arrive – but will only be available until stocks last.

The Chipotle Mayo is said to be “an exotic dip full of smoke”, whereas the Creamy Ranch is “Amercia’s most popular sauce” for nugget fans to dip into.

These limited-edition flavours are in addition to the current classic dips; Tomato Ketchup, BBQ sauce, Curry sauce and Sweet ‘n’ sauce.

The four new dips are not the only new additions to the menu, the Big Tasty and Big Tasty with Bacon are returning.

But McDonald’s has developed the “legendary burger” by offering a brand new Spicy Big Tasty which has a fiery kick on the classic Big Tasty.

The Spicy Big Tasty features a 100 percent beef patty, made with Emmental cheese, lettuce, bacon, tomato and our much loved Big Tasty® sauce with a jalapeno twist.

Halloumi fries will also be available and McDonald’s said customers will get “our delicious halloumi cheese sticks coated in a light batter, served with a rich tomato dip”.

The halloumi fries are in addition to regular fries and are available for a limited time only.

In terms of desserts, Wispa and Wispa Gold McFlurry will be available soon too.

The new desserts are made of soft dairy ice cream, swirled with Wispa chocolate pieces and a chocolate sauce, or Cadbury caramel sauce if customers choose the Gold option.

The prices for the new menu items are yet to be released by McDonald’s UK.
