Christmas is the time for indulging, so there’s no point making a boring cheese sandwich for your lunch during the festive season.
Executive Chef at the Hilton Hotel, Anthony Marshall, is serving up special club sandwiches to celebrate properly.
The Club Sandwich has been on room service menus at all Hilton hotels for decades, and it is still one of the brand’s most popular dishes around the world.
Express.co.uk reveals how to make this 15 layer festive club sandwich from the comfort of your own home.

Chef Marshall said: “I’m sure most of us have been eating the same lunch at home for a while now, so we wanted to create a festive version of the world’s most famous triple-decker, that sandwich fans can recreate at home.
“How you layer the ingredients is really important and the bread must be toasted to prevent sogginess.
“The brie works perfectly as it melts over the warm crispy smoked bacon and this is undoubtedly the best way to use up any left-over turkey.”
How to make the perfect club sandwich
- Three slices of focaccia bread
- Shredded iceberg lettuce
- Cranberry and maple mayonnaise
- Beef tomato
- Maple glazed bacon
- Roast turkey
- French brie
- Pear and chilli jam

Firstly, take some toasted bread- focaccia is ideal.
Mix shredded iceberg lettuce with cranberry and maple mayo, and spread a layer on the bread.
Add two slices of beef tomatoes, followed by some maple-cured bacon.
Add a layer of roast turkey, on top of that add some slices of French brie.
Then add some pear and chilli jam.
Top this with another layer of focaccia or other toasted bread and repeat the steps.
Once the sandwich is done, gently press it together and cut it in half.
If the halves are too big to bite into, quarter the sandwich.
Crisps or chips make a perfect side for this deliciously festive sandwich.
