Costa Coffee regularly changes and updates its menu, usually in line with the seasons. This week, the coffee chain launched its new summer menu, just in time for the easing of more lockdown restrictions next Monday.
Costa introduced its new menu to stores on Thursday, May 6.
The coffee chain added 10 new items to its range, including a KitKat muffin, a lemon swirl cheesecake, and an array of fresh salads.
The KitKat muffin costs £2.25 and follows the success of Costa’s other branded muffins over the past few years.
Last year, the chain introduced a Rolo muffin to its menu, while two years ago both a Lotus Biscoff muffin and a Terry’s Chocolate Orange muffin were available for customers to taste.
Meanwhile, Costa’s new lemon swirl cheesecake costs £3.
Other sweet treats that Costa is now offering include a lemon and blueberry cake, a lime and coconut loaf cake, and a strawberries and cream muffin.
Additionally, there is a new range of gingerbread biscuits that cost £2 each.
Interestingly, the biscuits are made in the shapes of cars and dogs.

As well as sweet treats, Costa also added savoury foods to its menu this week.
A chicken and bacon Caesar salad is available, costing £4.
Customers can opt for a Greek feta and quinoa salad too, selling for the same price.
Coffee and cake lovers can find their nearest Costa café with the store locator on the chain’s website.
The indoors of Costa branches will be reopening from next Monday, May 17, so customers can enjoy a drink or a meal in a warmer and more comfortable space.
However, Costa is still working with Uber Eats to deliver orders to your door, if you would rather stay home instead of going to a café.
In other Costa news, the chain is celebrating its 50th birthday by offering customers a huge deal on some drinks.
From May 11 until May 13, customers can get any iced coffee or tea for only 50p.
Iced coffees and teas are becoming popular as the weather turns warmer, and Costa has just launched a new iced coffee in a can.
The Costa chilled coffee cans are available to buy now in all Costa stores and restaurants.
Additionally, Costa is doing its bit for the environment as it is inviting customers to bring their own reusable coffee cups to cafés.
If you bring your own cup, flask or mug, Costa will give you 25p off your drink.
