Boozy Whipped Coffee

We took the easy drink that’s taken the internet by storm and made it even better. Take your Dalgona coffee up a notch by adding an indulgent dose of coffee liqueur to the mix.


  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup instant coffee granules
  • 1/3 cup cold water
  • 1/3 cup (2 2/3 oz.) coffee liqueur (such as Kahlúa)

How to Make It

Step 1

Mix together sugar and coffee granules in bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment. Add water, and mix on low to combine.

Step 2

Add liqueur, and increase mixer speed to medium-high, mixing until pale brown and whipped to soft peaks, 7 to 10 minutes. Serve as topping on cold milk, hot coffee, or Irish Cream on the rocks.
